Our local guides took us through out the city in motorcycles which to our surprise was an experience we highly enjoyed. His... read more knowledge about Uganda’s culture and tradition, history and nature, combined with client-focused attitude, sense of humour and great personality made the trip a total success. Further to excellent planning and organising all sorts of activities for us (from sundowners and game drives to Kazinga channel boat cruise and cultural trips) he also went above and beyond by organising the predeparture PCR tests as well as additional activities during our last day in Kampala even though these were not part of the initial itinerary.

On top of his job as a guide, he’s also a passionate wildlife photographer. Our camera broke just a few days in the trip and he offered to take pictures with his own camera to share with us (not to mention that some of his pictures are worthy of Nat Geo recognition).

Overall a total success and we strongly recommend Meddy if you’re considering a trip in Uganda, Kenya and/or Tanzania.

  " Best trip in africa I ever had..." - Everything was perfect on that trip...the trips before we did with German Agencies, but it is much more better, to travel with an local Agency, everything is more authentic.
Meddy... read more is very professionell, always funny and helpful. He ever kept an eye on us 😉 Together we had unvorgettable, magic moments. From Kampala we started to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, then to Kidepo Valley National Parc. In Karamojo we visited the ethnic group Karamojong. Then we went to the Sipi Falls, forward to Kenia to the East African Rift Valley, to lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara. We went back to Uganda to Kisumu and ended the Journey in Jinja at the source of th Nile.
Some of the Lodges are located very high in the mountains and the nights can be very cold. But we got some hot water bags, that was very fine.
On that trip we saw 37 lions, 7 cheetahs and all the other phantasic animals.
Thank you Meddy for that very special trip, for the breakfasts, lunches an especially for the phantastic sun downers in the reserves. We are looking to our next trip with you in January 2021

  A couple of years ago, we met Meddy on a tour in Uganda and we thought it was a once in a lifetime experience. We did not know back then... read more that we would make a good friend and many new adventures lay ahead.

Bow, two year later, we are just returning from another absolutely amazing trip with Meddy to Kenya. We spent few days in the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru and, thanks to Meddy, we fell in love with this beautiful country, its beautiful landscapes and unrivalled wildlife. His local knowledge, respect for nature, photographer skills and most importantly his constant smile made this another adventure of a life time. Meddy showed us the raw beauty of nature and amazing scenes that are straight from an Attenborough documentary - from prides of lions feeding on a freshly killed buffalo to cheetah trying to secure its lunch and baby rhino being protected by its mother, these were scenes that only an experiences guide with passion, knowledge and persistence can show you. And most importantly we had a lot of fun and created many memories. Thank you, Meddy and we shall see you soon in another corner or East Africa for the next adventure.

And everyone will know for sure the Thompsons’s gazelle!
