Safari Overview

A wildlife Safari to the very best stunning Tanzania national parks where you will be able to see vast number of wild animals and birds, this tour takes you to the northern circuit destination visiting the Serengeti plains, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park. The tour will also include visiting beautiful beaches of Zanzibar where you will enjoy the paradise of Africa.

Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Airport pick up

You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport by our staff and transferred to Moshi for resting after a long flight. Our staff will answer all your queries regarding your upcoming safari and provide you with a short briefing as well. Afterwards, you will be taken to your accommodation.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park.

On your drive from Arusha sit back and enjoy the scenic views of the changing vegetation. The drive will approximately take you two hours. You will be able to see different human activities such as farms and stones quarries from the roads. You might also see Maasai boys with their cattle grazing or moving in search of water and grass. Lake Manyara National park though another small park is perfect for bird watching. Game in Lake Manyara include elephants, wildebeests along with so many giraffes, and buffaloes. In addition, the park is also very famous for its large number of zebras, impalas, warthogs and waterbucks. After the adventure of the day you will head to Karatu for overnight.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National park.

This day starts with early breakfast at your hotel followed by a drive through Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park. Take a breath and enjoy the beautiful scenery rolling into the distance as far as your eyes can see. You will head in the central part of the park known as the Seronera circuit which is very rich in wildlife habitat, the place is featured by the Seronera River that provides Water for the Animals.

Day 4 and 5: Serengeti National Park

Early morning game drive in the Serengeti plains driving from Serengeti central to North. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti and get a chance to appreciate the view as the sun set fire to the savannah while predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal.

Alternatively you might want to explore the untouched parts of Serengeti as you casually drift away from the surface of the earth in the early hours of the morning, safe in the basket of a hot air balloon. . This is an additional activity if you like to add it then confirm with your safari expert.

After breakfast you will proceed to explore the vast savannah of Serengeti in your open roof vehicle with your packed lunch. Take your hat and sunglasses out and enjoy what nature has in store for you.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro.

Early morning game drive in Ndutu trying to capture what was missed on yesterday’s drive. Later in the afternoon start heading towards the Ngorongoro conservation area with a game drive en route. Your driver will drive on a different route from the one you did on day three. This drive gives you an opportunity to glimpse what the two world heritage sites have to offer from the golden savannah grasslands of Serengeti to the montane forest of Ngorongoro.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

Taking picnic lunches with you, your drive today will lead you to a descend down the crater floor for a full exploration of what the crater has to offer by tracking game with your guide. The crater is 610m deep and 260km2 wide, making it the largest Caldera in the world. The crater contains all the big five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopard and buffaloes), hippos, cheetah, antelopes and spotted hyena. Also in the crater you can see different species of birds. Other game such as velvet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare.

Day 8: Tarangire National Park.

After Breakfast you will drive to Tarangire National Park which is known for its vast elephant herds of up to 300, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you’ll see in one habitat anywhere in the world! The park is also home to tree climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards. You will enjoy game drive and game viewing with picnic lunch. Later drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight. You will have your lunch and later drive to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar.

Day 9: Zanzibar (Prison Island and Sand bank)

Prison island and Stone town tour in Zanzibar is a full Day Tour that starts and ends at your hotel,

Day 10: Zanzibar (Jozani Forest, kuza caves and Paje Beach)

Jozani Forset is the only national park found in Zanzibar. The park is famous for Red Colobus Monkey, the rare species which is endemic to Zanzibar. The forest accommodates variety of tree species, mangrove swamp being one of them as the home to few unique species like Sykes monkey, bush babies and over 50 butterfly and 40 species of birds. Later you will tour the kuza caves and have leisure time relaxing on the beautiful beach.

Day 11: Zanzibar (Safari Blue)

Safari blue tour in Zanzibar is a full day tour that starts and ends at your hotel, The main attractions:-

Safari blue trip in Zanzibar is one among the best sea adventures, not only will you be sailing along with the traditional dhow but you can also get to snorkel, swim, and relax on the white sandy beaches.

In addition to this, there are plenty of sea foods awaiting your to taste, the dhow departs from Fumba beach at 09:00am and we get back around 03:30pm, with your Safari Blue guide, you will explore the mangrove lagoon hidden inside the Kwale Island.
