Expect to visit one of the most beautiful and recognized world heritage sites ‘the Bwindi Impenetrable forest’ that is home to half of the world’s Mountain Gorilla population. It is also home to a lot of primate life such as blue monkeys, Mangabeys, Chimpanzees, elephants, duikers, and much more. The reasons behind it’s recognition as a world heritage site is due to the fact that it’s one of the few forest that ever inhabited the 3 great Apes and that is Man, Gorilla and Chimpanzee. Experience the history and beautiful landscapes of the Kigezi region commonly known as the Switzerland of Africa as named by the famous British prime minister Winston Churchill.
After a delicious breakfast expect to transfer to Ishasha South of Queen Elizabeth for tree climbing lions experience. En-route we shall have lunch and a few photo stops

After a heavy breakfast, you will embark on a quick journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park with a stopover at Ishasha for the search of the famous tree climbing lions; however you may also get to see other animals you might have missed in the previous game drives. Then continue with a scenic drive through the Kigezi highlands as you check into the Gorilla forest home

In the morning after your breakfast, have a transfer to the park headquarters reaching early enough for a quick brief about the dos and don’ts while tracking the great primates. You will then advance into an ever green topical forest searching for the gorillas and this may take a period of 2-6 hours, however you may encounter other primates like the black-and-white colobus monkey, red tail monkey among others. Transfer to Lake Mutanda Lake Resort for relaxation after a memorable adventure with the Mountain Gorillas

Today we shall transfer Lake Bunyonyi and here you expect to do an optional Canoe trek or boat cruise around the lake as you explore the beautiful islands. You can also opt to relax at you hotel or visit the Bunyonyi adventure park where you can do a Zipling or high ropes climbing.

As you wind up your 6 Days primate watch in Uganda, today is the day to relax in your car and enjoy the beautiful surroundings as you head out to Kampala/Entebbe for your next programs or flight back home. Expect a stop over at the Equator for souvenir shopping and a photo session.
