14Days /13Nights Safari and the beach

You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport by our staff and transferred to Moshi for resting after a long flight. Our staff will answer all your queries regarding your upcoming safari and provide you with a short briefing as well. Afterwards, you will be taken to your accommodation.

This day our safari manager picks you up from the Kilimanjaro International Airport later head to Materuni Waterfalls. Materuni is the home of the Chagga tribe and is still an authentic tribal village. This charming place is just 3km away from Moshi Town and is the last village before the Kilimanjaro National Park. First you will visit the waterfalls, on the way, your guide will inform you about the culture of the Chagga, village life and explain the surrounding fauna and flora. The views are truly breathtaking, and with some luck you will see the summit of Kilimanjaro. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall is an inviting place for a refreshing swim so don‘t forget our swimwear! After having enjoyed the scenery, you slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch. You also will have the opportunity to taste our local bananabeer – definitely not to be missed! But that’s not all. Next the coffee experience awaits you. Here you will learn how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted and further processed. You will also be invited to help with the grinding of the coffee, which is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances -a fun way to immerse yourself in the local culture. Before you say good bye. Later after this wonderful experience you will drive to Arusha for Dinner and Overnight.

After Breakfast you will drive to Tarangire National Park which is known for its vast elephant herds of up to 300, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you’ll see in one habitat anywhere in the world! The park is also home to tree climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards. You will enjoy game drive and game viewing with picnic lunch. Later drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight..

Taking picnic lunches with you, your drive today will lead you to a descend down the crater floor for a full exploration of what the crater has to offer by tracking game with your guide. The crater is 610m deep and 260km2 wide, making it the largest Caldera in the world. The crater contains all the big five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopard and buffaloes), hippos, cheetah, antelopes and spotted hyena. Also in the crater you can see different species of birds. Other game such as velvet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare.

This day starts with early breakfast at your hotel followed by a drive through Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park. Take a breath and enjoy the beautiful scenery rolling into the distance as far as your eyes can see. You will head in the central part of the park known as the Seronera circuit which is very rich in wildlife habitat, the place is featured by the Seronera River that provides Water for the Animals.

Early morning game drives in the Serengeti plains driving from Serengeti central to North. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti and get a chance to appreciate the view as the sun set fire to the savannah while predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal.

Alternatively you might want to explore the untouched parts of Serengeti as you casually drift away from the surface of the earth in the early hours of the morning, safe in the basket of a hot air balloon. . This is an additional activity if you like to add it then confirm with your safari expert.

After breakfast you will proceed to explore the vast savannah of Serengeti in your open roof vehicle with your packed lunch. Take your hat and sunglasses out and enjoy what nature has in store for you.

On this day you will drive from Serengeti to The Rock City Mwanza, Mwanza is a port city shore of Lake Victoria in the northern Tanzania, The Sukuma Tribe are the main people in this city, the city is known for its unusual rock formation as you get in the city your guide will be able to drive to one of the fmous rock known as the bismark rock before you proceed to your hotel for resting,dinner and overnight. You might also have an option of  boat ride in the lake during the evening when the sun goes down its actually the best place to enjoy the sunset.

You have a full day spending at your lodge enjoying some lake activities like fishing or boat excursion in the lake expect to see different birds  also you have a chance to visit the town and interact with people around Mwanza.

On this day you we will have earlier breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Zanzibar.

Time to spend precious time at one of the best beaches in the world. You will spend these days relaxing at the beach hotel handpicked for the special needs of honeymooners.
