3 Days Tarangire,Manyara and Ngorongoro

Itinerary

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 0900am and drive on tarmac road 120km to Tarangire National Park (2,850sq km or 1,005sq miles) for game drives. Lunch picnic there then continue with afternoon game viewing in the park, a home to Lion, Leopard, Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, Impala and more… Over 450 species of birds have been observed.

Dinner taken as well as overnight done at Karatu

After breakfast follows pick up and drive on tarmac road 60km with lunchbox to Lake Manyara National Park (330sq km or 127sq mile) on the base of the Great Rift Valley for the Afternoon game drives. The park is home to the tree climbing Lions, Hippo, Elephants, Zebras, Buffalos, Giraffes, large groups of Baboons, Blue and Vervet monkey, Warthog and more. About 350 species of birds have been recorded. The Manyara National park is also famous for its large flocks of flamingos. In this park canoeing has recently been added to the tourist activities in this park at extra cost. This is a great way to see the park from a new perspective.

Dinner and overnight at Karatu

Wake up early in the morning for breakfast then drive to Ngorongoro and descend into the Crater floor for game drives. The crater is home to Black Rhino, Elephants, Zebras, Wildebeests, Buffalos, Impalas and so many other Antelopes, Carnivores such as pride of Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, Hyenas and other small cats. Lunch is served on the picnic site at Ngoitoktok swamp, a Hippo pool, then proceed with afternoon game viewing while ascending the Crater and drive back to Arusha for the drop off at the Hotel booked for the night bed and breakfast.
